Dear Parents of Robert Gray Kindergarten Students,

We are excited to meet all our new kindergarteners!

To help create the most balanced kindergarten classes, we will implement a “soft start” during the first two weeks of school. This approach allows for flexibility in class assignments before final rosters are established. During the soft start, your child will have the opportunity to work with all of the kindergarten teachers in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings.

Through guided academic and social-emotional lessons, students and teachers will get to know one another. During this time, any necessary classroom assignment changes will be made to ensure well-balanced classes for the year.

Registration in the Spring helps ensure that teachers are ready for all students in the fall

Students must be 5-years-old on or before Aug. 31, 2025

Use the NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION page at www.asd5.org and select your neighborhood school.

You will need:

  • Proof of Age
  • Immunization Records
  • Emergency Contact Information
  • Proof of Address (Utility bill, cable bill, lease agreement)

Registration from in-district residence only. Out-of-district requests are not being considered at this time.

Currently enrolling 3- and 4-year-olds

Open to children in the Aberdeen School District. Eligibility requirements apply.

Robert Gray Elementary will be hosting an Open House on August 26th from 6pm to 7pm.

Come meet your teacher and new principal! We are so excited for school to start! Join us in the gym at 6:00 pm for a brief introduction and some important news! Enjoy your last few days of summer and we will see you soon Explorers!
